About The Swimwear Review
The Swimwear Review is an independent editorial publication that reviews swimwear and resortwear brands. We are not a store and we do not sell the products we cover — our only job is to tell you, honestly, what's worth your money and what isn't.
How we score
Every brand is judged against the same ten criteria, ordered from most to least important to a "was this worth the money?" verdict. Each is scored out of 10, and the overall score is our editorial judgement of how the brand performs across all of them, weighted toward what shoppers care about most.
- Fit & flattering cut
- Support (especially fuller bust)
- Fabric quality & feel
- Value / cost-per-wear
- Versatility & resortwear range
- Durability & construction
- Sizing & inclusivity
- Coverage & opacity
- Sustainability
- Buying experience
Our independence
Reviews are editorial and are not sponsored by the brands we cover. Where we cite specific claims — prices, fabrics, return policies — we link to our sources so you can verify them. Details change over time, so we always recommend confirming current specifics on the brand's own site before buying.
Who writes our reviews
Our reviews and guides are written by the Swimwear Review editorial team, who research each brand's fit notes, fabric compositions, sizing, policies, and the recurring themes in verified customer reviews before scoring. A byline appears on every piece.
